Senior Tester Location: Bruxelles, BelgiumLanguages: English and French or DutchContext of Hive Project:We are looking for a Senior Tester to join the Hive project. Hive is a digital solution designed to support the supervision of the financial sector. Its initial releases focus on regulatory data collection and report management from supervised institutions, assessment of management suitability, and secure data exchange with European and national supervisory authorities.This in-house developed platform replaces legacy systems by digitizing and integrating both existing and new functionalities into a single, modular solution. Key features include, but are not limited to:A dedicated portal for supervisory activitiesA central repository for collected documentationRegulation and reporting managementSupervisory follow-upSupervisory metadata managementInterfaces with external supervisory authoritiesThe Hive solution consists of:A .NET application with an Angular frontend for recording and consulting data and metadataAPI-based integrations to and from the platformMigration of legacy data into the new solutionResponsibilities:Providing test effort estimations and planning test activitiesParticipating in user story reviews, ensuring requirements are testable, consistent, and completePerforming risk-based test analysis to define test types and execution orderPreparing and executing test casesCollaborating with business experts on test case preparation and monitoring execution by business testersCoordinating test activities across development and user acceptance phasesCoaching team members involved in testing activities, regardless of their testing backgroundManaging defects, including readiness and criticality assessment, communication with development teams, and patch validationReporting on test coverage, progress, and quality metrics to the project team and managementEnsuring the quality and coverage of end-to-end and regression testingUsing the XRAY test management toolApplying the project's defined methodologies and quality standardsTest activity estimations and planningDocumented and executed test cases in XRAYDocumented defects in JIRAReview and maintenance of regression test cases in XRAYReporting on test coverage, progress, and quality metricsRetesting of production defectsAll deliverables must be written in EnglishProfile:Proven experience as a Senior Tester in software development projectsExperience working in teams with both professional and non-professional testersExtensive experience in test analysis and executionExperience in regression and performance testingStrong hands-on experience with XRAY and JIRAExcellent knowledge of testing processes and methodologiesStrong expertise in test analysis, execution, and defect managementGood knowledge of regression and performance testingExperience with JIRA and XRAYProficiency in Excel functionsKnowledge of SQLExperience with API testingAbility to set priorities, organize team work, and coordinate multiple stakeholdersCapability to coach and support non-professional testersStrong communication and negotiation skillsAnalytical mindset with strong synthesis abilitiesProactive and solution-oriented attitudeHigh attention to detail and qualityAbility to deliver results on time and under pressureInterested in this opportunity?
