The challenge We are looking for a colleague that is ready to join us as Manager of the Product Team Your first priority will be to assure quality of service and security compliance of our already running applications. Next to that we want you to implement and manage the target structure and way of working of the team, to make it progressively capable of managing on top of the current scope all new deliverables and assets coming from the CLUP program. You are expected to manage the team as a leader & coach. You take care of priority management, dependencies, budgets, as well as training & well-being of your team. We want you and your team to be committed, passionate and to have fun. Apart from managing your direct team you also will need to coordinate the different experts who contribute to your initiatives, such as business and IT Epic/Project managers, architects and security specialists. It is essential that you nurture an extended network that will facilitate the exchanges with other teams and ultimately the removal of impediments. You will report back to your IT Feature managers, IT management, business stakeholders and sponsors. You have: At least 5 years' experience in an IT delivery context and in leading IT teams You are fluent in English and in at least of the two national languages Expertise in different project and operations delivery practices such as e.g. scaled agile and waterfall An understanding of Insurance (Commercial Lines) is an asset You are: Pragmatic and have the right mindset to quickly deliver effective solutions meeting the actual needs of the business A connector between Business and IT and you position yourself as a privileged contact point Conscious of the impact of business analysis, architecture, application and technical design, code quality and followed processes on the implementation outcome You promote continuous improvement of quality of service Able to build a strong network and to identify the best people you need to reach out to collaborate with you and your teams Able to communicate with business and technical colleagues alike, and to gain buy-in within the different levels of the organization.
