Commissioning Lead (CXA) – Data CentreClient Side | 12-Month Contract 📍 BelgiumWe are seeking an experienced Commissioning Lead (CXA) to join a client-side team on a 12-month contract supporting the delivery of a major data centre project in Belgium.Acting as the client’s representative, you will take ownership of the commissioning process from design through to handover, ensuring critical systems are delivered safely, compliantly, and perform in line with operational requirements.Role OverviewLead and manage the overall commissioning strategy for a hyperscale / large-scale data centreAct as the client-side Commissioning Authority (CXA)Oversee commissioning from design review through construction, testing, IST, and handoverEnsure systems are delivered to meet resilience, availability, and performance targetsKey ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement the commissioning plan and programmeReview design documentation for commissioning, operability, and maintainabilityCoordinate and manage commissioning activities across all MEP and CSA systemsOversee and witness factory acceptance testing (FAT), site acceptance testing (SAT), and ISTInterface with contractors, vendors, designers, and operations teamsIdentify and manage commissioning risks, issues, and dependenciesEnsure high-quality handover, including O&M documentation and trainingSupport soft landings, seasonal testing, and post-handover activities as requiredKey RequirementsProven experience as a Commissioning Lead / CXA on data centre projectsStrong technical knowledge of critical MEP systems (HV, LV, UPS, generators, cooling, BMS, EPMS)Experience operating in a client-side or independent CXA roleExcellent stakeholder management and coordination skillsAbility to work independently in a fast-paced, high-risk environmentValid EU passport (mandatory)Willingness to be site-based in Belgium as requiredContract DetailsLocation: BelgiumDuration: 12 monthsEngagement: ContractRate: Competitive, dependent on experienceThis is an excellent opportunity to take a key client-side commissioning role on a high-profile data centre programme in Europe.
