The opportunity For our growing business, we are looking for a seasoned and energetic Director Digital Economy & Emerging Tech to lead and grow our digital economy & emerging tech domain in close collaboration with Brussels leadership. This role is ideal for an experienced public affairs professional with a solid background in consultancy, and a strong interest or experience in Digital Economy and Tech Policy. Key responsibilities Lead key client engagements with strategic insight. Define and execute the growth strategy for the Digital Economy & Emerging Tech domain. Lead specific client and commercial engagements within your specialization, driving proposals from concept to delivery. Work with the leadership team to shape the organization’s strategy and impact. Providing guidance on public affairs issues and shaping client strategies. Represent Considerati EU Public Affairs at top-tier policy and industry forums. Set priorities, ways of working, and quality standards Set the tone for quality and ambition, contributing to a strong, forward-thinking team culture. The ideal candidate profile 8+ years of relevant experience in EU public affairs consultancies Demonstrated expertise in EU Digital Economy and Emerging Tech with a strong network across EU institutions and industry. Previous experience working in one or more of the following policy areas is considered a plus: cybersecurity, cloud, telecoms, semicon, quantum, AI, digital platform regulation, or related policy files Strong drive and proactive attitude towards business development, with the ability to turn sector insights into client opportunities. Team player with proven skills in managing client relationships and client teams.
