For a global customer providing services in over 150 countries, we are searching for a freelance DevOps Engineer to support several teams for infrastructure and platform operations.ResponsibilitiesTroubleshooting and solving automation/monitoring faultsDesign and advice on best practicesCreating and maintaining internal alerting rulesCreating work instructions, documentation and proceduresAutomate the daily work where possibleActively contribute to the migration of legacy tooling and environment, but also to new projects deliveryProfileA no-nonsense IT engineer with all-round IT-interests always willing to go the extra mile, delivering accuracy and security in the work performedStrong experience with CI/CD, automated testing, Ansible and Docker containersKnowledge or interested in monitoring tools in general, such as Zabbix, Prometheus, GrafanaUnderstanding monitoring concepts through SNMP or APIHands-on experience of network & security related technologies is a plusExperience with database technologies, ideally PostgreSQL, TimescaleDBGood administrative skills with a strong eye for detailBeing certified as Zabbix specialist or professional is a plusAdditional DetailsSENIORITY: Medior/SeniorSTART DATE: JanuaryDURATION: 6 MonthsEXTENSION: TBCCONTRACT: FreelanceLOCATION: BrusselsONSITE POLICY: 2-3 days per weekHOURS PER WEEK: 40LANGUAGES: Fluent EnglishINTERVIEW PROCESS: 1-2 stagesIf you are interested, please forward your updated resume to jay.kukoyi@vividresourcing.com to be considered.
