Junior Measurement Support Engineer (ref code: MSE_12_25)We are currently looking to expand our onsite Measurements Support Operations team based in Mechelen, Belgium, with a Junior Measurement Support Engineer.Main ResponsibilitiesConfigure, operate, upgrade, troubleshoot & maintain the Rohde & Schwarz/SwissQual measurement equipment or equipment provided by the customerTechnical support to different project leaders by managing network measurement equipment, applying correct configurations, troubleshooting and solving operational issues Technical support to measurement engineers in the fieldParticipate, if needed, in making detailed measurement route planningPerform field measurements of mobile networks;Mainly while driving; but also, in trains and in static/walk test modeUpload the measurement data in the relevant Commsquare toolsEnsure measurement integrity, data validity & systematic organisation of output dataImporting and validation of field measurement data Maintaining the measurement equipment inventoryBasic qualifications and experienceBSc degree (or higher) in Electrical and/or Telecom Engineering or relevant fieldWorking proficiency in Windows & MS OfficeValid driving licenseFluency in English (spoken & written)Be a team player with good communication skills.Be self-motivated, willing to take initiative and ownership, solution oriented with a “can” do attitude.Favoured qualifications and experienceProven experience in R&S/SwissQual measurement toolsUnderstanding or RF principles in 2G/3G/4G/5GIT skills: SQL.Fluency in Dutch or French.Commsquare offers:A very competitive salary.Meal- and EcovouchersHospitalisation insurance for the familyPrivate insurance plan.4 extra days off per year.Great contact to leading mobile technologies.A fresh and “fun to work” environment.Exposure to international markets.Great opportunities for both personal and professional development.How to applyTo respond to this position please send your CV to jobs_be@commsquare.com referencing the position’s ref code (ref code: MSE_12_25) on the subject.
