About the Role
We are looking for a Logistics Coordinator Ocean Freight for our client.
In this key role, you ensure that the right products arrive at the right place at the right time.
You act as the central link between terminals, warehouses, and transport partners, overseeing the entire logistics process from A to Z.
You will work closely with both internal teams and external partners, collaborating with the planning team to allocate the correct volumes to customers or storage locations. You will maintain close contact with shipping companies and charterers to ensure vessel space availability, working closely with the procurement team. Additionally, you will meticulously manage the administrative side of logistics and be able to respond swiftly and efficiently when needed. You will coordinate the entire supply chain for ocean transport from bulk imports to European distribution, ensuring seamless operations between warehouses, terminal activities, and vessel organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
- Initial experience in sea freight is a must.
- Knowledge of bulk transport (chemicals, liquids) is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain an overview and adapt quickly to unexpected challenges.
- Team player with a proactive attitude and a solution-oriented mindset.
- Fluency in English is a must; Dutch is an advantage.
