We are excited to announce an opportunity to join our dynamic team of Underwriters in Belgium as a Senior Underwriter, Liability.

This full-time hybrid role is based at our office in Zaventem, Belgium.
Key Accountabilities
Together with your colleagues you will build up and share your expertise in commercial General Liability Insurance. Teamwork is key alongside being able to independently coordinate your own portfolio from A to Z. You're a solid communicator and you seek to broaden a national network.
Your responsibilities include:
- Technical risk assessment for both existing portfolio and new business opportunities;
- Proactively seek business opportunities within the Domestic & International markets;
- Actively manage your own portfolio of diverse customers and collaborate with other lines of business for cross sell opportunities;
- Work closely with your team on the development and execution of the liability strategy;
- Monitor and identify market trends and coverage exposure developments;
- Coordinate, follow up, and process all administrative requirements regarding customers and contacts;
- Process data, analyze information and fact-find consolidation to result in accurate decision-making;
What are we looking for?
- Relevant experience in the insurance sector (minimum of 5-7 years in General Liability);
- Minimum a Bachelor's degree in preferably law or economics;
- Fluent in Dutch and English, professional level of French;
- Capable to take well informed and stringent decisions;
- Attention to detail, service minded and structured way of working;
- Able to maintain a clear work overview to colleagues and team.
