Application Architect

We currently have a vacancy for an Application Architect (Java) fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the company's premises or on-site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated with the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client's IT team on site.
Your tasks:
- Development of front and back-end website architecture as well as production of software architecture documents;
- Analysis of the integration of different information systems;
- Data analysis and data modelling;
- Create designs and blueprints of Cloud Architecture;
- Design and development of architecture components and building blocks using cloud components;
- Analysis, design and implementations of services and composites in SOA context (BPMN, BPEL, SCA);
- Production of use case models, software architecture documents, design and analysis models, implementation models;
- University degree in IT combined with relevant IT professional experience of 15 years;
- Proficiency with fundamental front-end languages such as JavaScript, HTML and CSS;
- Good knowledge with JavaScript frameworks and libraries such as Angular and Bootstrap;
- Proficiency with back-end languages / frameworks such as Java, PHP, Spring boot, Vaadin, Hibernate;
- Familiarity with database technology such as Oracle, MongoDB;
- Knowledge of code versioning tools such as Git or SVN;
- In depth knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g RUP);
- Experience of Workflow applications and complex UI interface development;
- Good knowledge of architecture best practices and patterns;
- Good knowledge of microservices and architecture in the cloud;
- Good knowledge of applications design and modelling tools;
- Good knowledge of Enterprise Architecture;
- Good knowledge of Relational DBMS and business process analysis;
- Knowledge of interoperability technology (web services, message oriented middleware, service oriented bus, event architecture);
- Excellent command of the English language;
