The assignment of the Head of well-being bpost group consists of drawing up, developing and implementing a well-being strategy that is as concrete as possible.


Your mission

  • Be part of the engage & care department as part of the HR organization, work in close collaboration with and report to the engage & care director
  • Interact frequently with the CHRO and other EXCO members to direct and adjust the wellbeing strategy
  • Interact with all levels of our bpost group organization to thoroughly understand the needs on wellbeing ;
- translating the latest academic insights in the field of well-being into pragmatic actions, always to increase employee well-being

  • Develop strategies and a wellbeing roadmap for BU Belgium that align with the strategic goals and objectives of the business and include global benchmarking, trend analysis and design metrics to ensure a datadriven approach;
  • Work out concrete lagging and leading indicators to monitor the progress of the program and bring them together in a dashboard;
  • Shape wellbeing initiatives in close collaboration with senior stakeholders to ensure close alignment and support in delivery across the organization;
  • Analyze employee data to generate insights on wellbeing and identify opportunities to improve wellbeing for BU Belgium.
Use data to inform strategy, drive design, and track and measure impact of programs;

  • Create and implement plans to promote wellbeing within bpostgroup by enlisting and amplifying the voice of employees and all other relevant stakeholders;
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the bpostgroup and the broader professional community to learn and implement best practices and to collect relevant benchmark data;
  • Communicate effectively and confidently to employees and senior stakeholders across multiple formats including; presentations, internal social media and online channels;
  • Lead by example, promoting and embodying a working environment that showcases our wellbeing culture.

Your profile
- able to work at a strategic level without losing sight of the operational elaboration of actions

  • You combine strong project management skills with partnership and influencing skills.
  • Passion for promoting wellbeing in a global organization;
  • 8+ years of work experience in global wellbeing initiatives and programs;
  • Having experience with a large organisation with a national footprint is a plus;
  • Knowledge of wellbeing at work legislation (Codex WOW);
  • Good knowledge of absenteeism processes and be familiar with implementing measures to control it;
  • Expertise in employee engagement and related concepts. Experience in conducting engagement surveys is a definite plus;
  • Good knowledge of social law and be able to translate it to the specific bpost groups: statutory employees and (non)baremic contract employees;
  • Program Management skills to be able to translate the wellbeing objective into a concrete program with various project lines. Be able to concretise, take ownership and guarantee the agreed timing. Working with short, medium and longterm objectives;
  • Strong internal networking skills to gather the various stakeholders in the company around this objective. Be able to inspire, and challenge in a connecting way. Developing good knowledge of business activities is a necessity;
  • Be able to prepare and give dynamic and convincing presentations up to Exco level, often in English in addition to French and Dutch;
  • Good people management skills to manage a team of experts.
