Als Consulting Engineer zijn enkele van je verantwoordelijkheden onder andere:

  • Promoten van cement en beton om de kwaliteit en duurzaamheid van constructies te verhogen, gebaseerd op gedegen onderzoek en ervaring.
  • Deelnemen aan de ontwikkeling van normen, richtlijnen en typespecificaties.
  • Bijwonen van vergaderingen met overheidsinstanties en beleidsorganen op Europees, federaal en regionaal niveau.
  • Bieden van technische ondersteuning en betrouwbare informatie aan ontwerpers en aannemers voor, tijdens en na projecten.
  • Verzorgen van lezingen en cursussen in verschillende vakgebieden en contact onderhouden met belanghebbenden.
  • Opstellen van technische publicaties over cement en beton voor diverse doelgroepen.
  • Vertegenwoordigen van FEBELCEM in verschillende werkgroepen, workshops, seminars en conferenties.
  • Organiseren van evenementen voor diverse doelgroepen in samenwerking met andere organisaties in de sector.

Het team en je manager

Onder leiding van Ir Hervé Camerlynck, Managing Director die in 2020 bij de federatie is komen werken. Hij staat bekend als een empathische en betrouwbare manager die veel autonomie biedt aan zijn team.

Je maakt deel uit van een team van 7 medewerkers, voornamelijk zeer nauwkeurige ingenieurs, die in een rustige omgeving werken. Teamactiviteiten zoals gezamenlijke lunches en bedrijfsbezoeken worden regelmatig georganiseerd, wat de teamgeest en sfeer ten goede komt.

Je kunt rekenen op een professionele inwerkperiode. Je krijgt de kans om bij leden thuis op bezoek te gaan, een cementfabriek te bezoeken en begeleiding te ontvangen van de huidige Consulting Engineer die met pensioen gaat en over uitgebreide expertise in betontechnologie beschikt.


Jouw toegevoegde waarde voor Febelcem

  • Burgerlijk ingenieur of burgerlijk ingenieur-architect met minimaal 5 jaar praktijkervaring in betonuitvoering en/of -specificatie.
  • Ervaring in wegenbeton en infrastructuurprojecten is een pluspunt.
  • Bekendheid met het certificeringsproces voor bouwmaterialen en standaardisatie.
  • Vloeiend in zowel Nederlands als Frans met goede kennis van Engels, uitstekende schriftelijke en mondelinge communicatievaardigheden.
  • Vermogen om boodschappen aan te passen aan verschillende doelgroepen zoals architecten, ondernemers, ambtenaren, politici, journalisten en studenten.
  • Intelligent en nieuwsgierig van aard.

Een vaste aanstelling met diverse voordelen:

  • Tijdens het tweede gesprek geef je een presentatie van 20 minuten over duurzaamheid in je moedertaal.
  • Voorstel voor contractbespreking met geplande start in november 2024.
