**Job Description
WeSmart is looking for a (Senior) Business Developer to support its business activities and strengthen its market position;

What you'll be doing:


This position requires working hand in hand with the CEO of the company, and encompasses various aspects such as sales, business development and projects follow-up.


  • Proactively generate business opportunities for the company to implement the company's solutions for new customers projects
  • Represent the company on the business development side
  • Participate in events to represent the company and meet with potential customers to present the solution and generate opportunities
  • In charge of defining, implementing and monitoring the sales strategy
  • Managing the customers relationships
  • Responsible for organising the customers sales meetings and presenting the company's solutions
  • Participate in customers contract negotiation and in charge of followup of the project implementation
  • Manage prospects and opportunities in our CRM tool, track prospects, prepare quotes and project proposals for each potential customer, ensure systematic reminders
Assist the team with additional tasks related to business development and sales management, such as preparing presentations, participating in brainstorming, spreading ideas and business insights to further promote our platform

Qualifications, experience and skills:

  • Master in management or marketing, MBA preferred
  • A minimum of 4 years of working experience in B2B sales and/or consulting
  • Sound knowledge of the Belgian energy market
  • Affinity with IoT and energy efficiency and Artificial Intelligence
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Handson and a doer, driven by results
  • Passionate about bringing innovation in the sustainability realm.
  • Ability to adapt to changing environments
  • Strong business acumen
  • Ability to work in autonomy and great team player
  • Proactive and positive attitude
  • Trilingual preferred (French, Dutch and English)
