Le groupe Elia est l'un des gestionnaires de réseau de transport (GRT) majeurs en Europe grâce à ses deux entreprises, Elia Transmission en Belgique et 50Hertz en Allemagne. Le Groupe gère km de liaisons à haute tension, alimente 30 millions d'utilisateurs finaux en électricité et dispose d'une regulated asset base de 9,1 milliards €, pour un résultat net ajusté de 306 millions €.

Outre ses activités de GRT, le groupe Elia possède deux autres activités:
l'interconnexion entre la Belgique et le Royaume-Uni à travers la joint-venture Nemo Link, en partenariat avec National Grid, qui consiste en des câbles sous-marins et souterrains reliant la Belgique et le Royaume-Uni et qui améliore la fiabilité du réseau et l'accès à la production renouvelable pour les deux pays ;
des services de consultance et d'ingénierie de haut niveau sur le marché international de l'énergie via sa filiale Elia Grid International. Présente à Bruxelles, Berlin, Dubaï, Doha et Singapour, Elia Grid International développe des projets de réseau électrique pour des tiers et analyse les opportunités d'investissement possibles dans des réseaux électriques à l'étranger.

Le groupe Elia, c'est une équipe de 2 500 professionnels issus de 24 pays qui a une mission et un rôle importants consistant principalement à aider et à implémenter la politique énergétique et climatique de l'Europe.

Description de fonction

En tant que Head of Business Development, vous serez chargé(e) de créer de la valeur à long terme en identifiant et en suscitant de nouvelles opportunités d'investissement pour l'entreprise dans le domaine de l'infrastructure de transport d'électricité, en Europe.

Le Head of Business Development & M&A est responsable des activités de business devolpement ainsi que des activités de fusion et acquisition pour l'ensemble du groupe Elia : elle identifie les nouvelles opportunités, façonne et définit l'environnement pour les concrétiser, procède à leur mise en œuvre en procédant notamment à la conduite des négociations, au processus de due diligence et enfin aux négociations pour les contrats de transaction définitifs.

Située au siège social du groupe à Bruxelles, l'équipe BD est constituée d'une petite cellule agile de professionnels qui soutiennent pleinement le programme stratégique d'Elia en identifiant et en concrétisant les opportunités de croissance externes prioritaires d'un point de vue stratégique. Le Head of BD & M&A rapporte au CFO et travaille en étroite collaboration avec le CEO, le Responsable de la Stratégie, le service juridique et le service financier.

**Parmi les principales responsabilités, citons les suivantes**:
Assurer le leadership et la gestion de l'équipe BD et M&A.
Élaborer la stratégie en matière de développement commercial et M&A en concertation avec avec la direction du groupe Elia et les fonctions clés du groupe (stratégie, innovation, affaires, risques, finances, etc.)
Créer des opportunités pour l'entreprise par le biais de partenariats à long terme ou d'accords valorisant les compétences et les connaissances de l'entreprise.
Obtenir les informations nécessaires pour concrétiser ces nouvelles opportunités et trouver un moyen de les façonner et les mettre en œuvre avec succès (créer l'environnement propice).
Gérer et préserver la relation avec les principaux acteurs du secteur. Établir et valoriser des relations reposant sur la confiance et l'intégrité afin de créer un climat propice aux opportunités.
Assurer la gestion de l'ensemble des activités de l'entreprise, de l'organisation et de la mise en œuvre de la stratégie de l'entreprise
Faire le lien avec Strategy, Finance, Legal et d'autres départements fonctionnels pour garantir une exécution de l'accord dans les meilleures conditions.
Développer et mettre à jour les profils de cibles potentielles dans notre base de données transactionnelle interne.

Votre profil

Titulaire d'un diplôme universitaire en gestion, finance, économie ou ingénierie.
10 ans d'expérience dans le développement commercial ou dans les fusions et acquisitions au sein d'une entreprise d'utilité publique, une grande banque d'investissement, une société de conseil et/ou d'une fonction BD/M&A au sein d'une entreprise multinationale.
Une expérience dans le secteur de l'énergie est requise
Motivé(e) et dynamique, vous êtes capable d'assumer une nouvelle fonction de manière autonome et de prendre des initiatives.
Aptitude à se développer dans un environnement qui évolue rapidement et occasionne beaucoup de stress.
Excellentes aptitudes à communiquer en anglais (à l'oral et à l'écrit).
Intérêt prononcé pour la transition énergétique.
