Our client is a main provider of software developing services in the transport industry, based in Brussels with offices close to a main railway station.


Functieomschrijving:

You will integrate within our client's Infrastructure Department.

Two different positions of two different teams available
:
Team Network and
Team Servers, Cloud and Storage. As coordinator, you will ensure the operational continuity of the service and the field.

  • You will act as a point of contact within your team, and you will act as point of contact for internal and external customers regarding service, planning, processes and procedures, etc ;
  • You will maintain regular contact with suppliers;
  • You will facilitate improvements of tasks and processes within your team;
  • You will manage and plan the daytoday activities of your team, including managing changes in priorities;
  • You will collect information for reporting on key KPIs and OLAs;
  • You will check the quality of the work delivered by your team;
  • You will ensure compliance with internal procedures and legislation related to the field;
  • You will consult with your manager about the daytoday management and planning of team activities and about the substantive and processrelated quality and efficiency of the services delivered by your team;
  • You will address any structural problems in your team in collaboration with your manager.

Vereiste ervaring:

  • You have at
    least 5 years of relevant professional experience within the domain attribuated to you
    : Network, or
    Servers, Cloud and Storage;

For
the Network position:
You have good knowledge of the following technologies : TCP/IP and ISO, Rooting protocols OSPF and BGP,

WAN :

MPLS / IP VPN / VRF, LAN, 802.1X and Radius, Wi-Fi, DDI, Firewall, Forward Proxy and URL filtering, Load balancing and reverse proxy.

You have good understanding of the following technologies : VOIP, UC&C, IPS/IDS, CASB, DLP, APT, WAF, aDDOS.

For the
Servers, Cloud and Storage position:

You have good knowledge of the following technologies : Servers, Storage, Virtualization, Backup, Cloud (Azure), Container, Kubernetes, Infrastructure automation / IaC, Os (Linux and Windows), and DB (MS SQL, Oracle,..).

You have good understanding of the following technologies : HC1, and CI/CD/Pipeline.

  • You're customeroriented, a team player, you're organized and structured, and you're a good communicator both orally and in writing,
  • You're
    fluent in Englisch, and Dutch and/or French, you have
    at least somebasic active knowledge of Dutch and French.
