Retailer Engagement Specialist

Job Description:
As Retailer Engagement Specialist, you will have the opportunity to maximize Retailer Interaction, understand data analysis and build strong relationships with our clients - all in order to continuously improve the quality of our deliverables.
This role will enable you to continuously improve how data is received and delivered - by optimizing data input, improving data quality, and ensuring on-time output.
Responsibilities:
- Driving Retailer Quality KPIs and building supplier (retailer) improvement processes and technology solutions
- Working closely with Nielsen internal stakeholders to establish an interaction process with retailers
- Being responsible for retention and penetration activities of existing retailers and improvement of the quality of the data received from the retailer
- Identifying best practices used by the top retailers and making recommendations for enhancements to internal Nielsen Operations processes
- Communicating with retailer IT departments (at all levels) on an ongoing basis regarding inputdata quality and future retailer inputdata changes
- Conducting all data investigations where the issue is traced back to retailer input and work with retailer and Nielsen Operations to correct input errors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree (preferably Information Technology) and/or Certifications in Database Management System in Oracle or Microsoft
- 12 years of experience in client facing role
- Fluent communication in English & French is a must
- Interest in Big Data and Retail Industry
- Knowledge of SQL and/or Python is a strong asset
- Good knowledge of Advanced Microsoft Excel
- Team and client oriented with good communication skills to liaise with retailers questions
- Able to work under pressure of deadlines
- Analytical mindset with high attention to detail
- Strong project management skills.
