Als toonaangevend telecommunicatiebedrijf dat een cloud first-strategie hanteert en cloud-transformatieprojecten uitvoert, staat Telenet te popelen om cloud native professionals aan boord te halen die onze passie voor Public Cloud Services delen.

Als lid van het Public Cloud Services team lever je oplossingen aan teams die rekenen op het cloud team om hun public cloud foundation en standaard diensten te leveren. Je neemt deel aan initiatieven die nieuwe mogelijkheden en diensten leveren op basis van de directe en toekomstige behoeften van deze teams. Je maakt deel uit van een team dat te maken heeft met multiple consumers , die elk hun eigen eisenpakket en tijdsbeperkingen hebben, en helpt hen bij het adopteren van cloudservices in lopende projecten.

Wij zijn op zoek naar een positieve, enthousiaste engineer die met ons mee wil op onze reis om de referentie te worden voor het gebruik van Public Cloud.

Je taken als onze Plubic Cloud Engineer

Werk samen met het team aan het definiëren en beoordelen van cloudstrategieën, ontwerpen en roadmaps. Neem deel aan agile ceremonies (verfijning, planning, beoordeling, ...). Werk nauw samen met applicatiearchitecten, analisten en ingenieurs om vereisten te verzamelen. Oplossingen ontwerpen en helpen bij de implementatie van bedrijfsprojecten. Identificatie en implementatie van standaardaanbod van cloudservices. Bouwen van de fundering en services van het next gen cloudplatform. Leveren van beheerde publieke cloudservices aan applicatieontwikkelingsteams. Implementeren van CICD-pijplijnschema's en integreren van standaardfasen. Documenteren en overdragen van de benodigde kennis aan operationele en andere engineeringteams. Definiëren en opvolgen van processen, standaarden en best practices voor optimaal gebruik van het aanbod van publieke cloudservices. Deelnemen aan cloudgovernanceteams en -processen. Incidenten en problemen van L3 oplossen.

Jouw profiel & ervaring

Ervaring: Must have: Effectieve communicatievaardigheden om samen te werken met cross-functionele teams. Oplossingen en ideeën op eenvoudige wijze presenteren aan een breder publiek Infrastructuur & applicaties ontwerpen in een cloud native omgeving AWS (voorkeur), GCP & Azure. Het bouwen van CI/CD-pijplijnen (GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline) Praktijkervaring met: netwerkinfrastructuur in de publieke cloud (bijv. VPC, Routing, Direct Connect, ALB, NLB) IaC & Configuration Mgmt (Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, GitOps).
Vitale kennis: 5+ jaar ervaring met softwareontwikkeling in cloud native omgeving Python, javascript, shell script Bouwen en uitvoeren van containers. Docker, K8S, OpenShift, AKS, EKS, Helm, enz. Definieer richtlijnen & best practices voor het onboarden van applicaties naar de publieke cloud. Bevorder de betrokkenheid van de community. Zet je actief in als brug tussen engineering, ontwikkeling en business als onderdeel van CoE Neem verantwoordelijkheid voor deliverables. Projectcoördinatie.
Nice to have: Ervaring met het agile framework, Jira en scrum. Bijdragen aan product roadmap

Je week als Public Cloud Engineer:
Je begint je dag met een Daily binnen het team. Dit is een bijeenkomst van 15 minuten om de communicatie te verbeteren, andere vergaderingen te elimineren, belemmeringen voor ontwikkeling te identificeren die moeten worden verwijderd, snelle besluitvorming te benadrukken en bevorderen en het kennisniveau van het team te verbeteren.

Elke dinsdag neem je deel aan de brainstormsessies met het team op kantoor, waar we verschillende onderwerpen aansnijden om samen als team te ontwerpen en te analyseren. Deze brainstormsessies worden bijgewoond door verschillende stakeholders van Telenet om samen met ons team te brainstormen. Elke woensdag om de week heb je vanuit je thuiskantoor een Sprintplanningsbijeenkomst. Tijdens deze bijeenkomst zet het team het werk uiteen dat voor de Sprint moet worden uitgevoerd. Dit resulterende plan wordt gemaakt door het gezamenlijke werk van het hele team.

De andere woensdagochtend is er een Refinement meeting, het doel is om de user stories te verfijnen, zodat het voor het team duidelijk is wat er moet gebeuren om de user story af te ronden. De middagen zijn bedoeld voor focustijd en om te werken aan uw Epics/Stories die zijn overeengekomen in de Sprintplanning. Elke maandag en donderdag is een focusdag om te werken aan de sprint backlog. Vrijdagen ben je op locatie met het volledige team (squad) en de afdeling (Cluster) en dit is een moment om samen te werken met je collega's uit verschillende teams.
