**Situering**

Om de verdere uitbouw van klinische en wetenschappelijke activiteiten van de dienst te ondersteunen, wil de dienst hart
- en vaatziekten een clinical support manager aanstellen met voornaamste focus op:

- de doorontwikkeling van AI-toepassingen voor cardiale beeldvorming in proof-of-concept fase (Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 4) tot operationeel systeem in de kliniek (TRL 9).
- uitwerking van een solide systeem voor (klinisch) datamanagement en kwaliteitsevaluatie en-verbetering.
- optimalisatie van de klinische en wetenschappelijke dataflow.

Het betreft een voltijds mandaat voor de duur van een jaar, met mogelijkheid tot verlenging.

**Wat je functie inhoudt**
- Procesoptimalisatie van klinische activiteit via vlotte informatiedoorstroming, met het oog op:

- Faciliteren van klinisch en translationeel onderzoek door automatisatie van de export van beschikbare klinische data uit KWS naar lokale databases, zoals bv. REDCap.
- Faciliteren van evidence-based werking via data-gedreven onderbouw en sturing van de klinische en operationele praktijkvoering.
- Faciliteren van regionale en supraregionale netwerking in klinische zorgprogramma's door data-verzameling en -overdracht.
- Implementeren van cardiale beeldvormingsanalyses met TRL4 AI technieken in de klinische workflow.
- Bewaken van de datakwaliteit en consistentie van datalijnen binnen de dienst en participeren in het GDPR-gedreven database inventarisproject en stroomlijnen van de Medical Device Regulation (MDR) richtlijnen voor de toepassingen binnen de dienst.
- Proactief screenen van opportuniteiten tot dataverbetering en hiertoe initiatief nemen.

**Wat wij vragen**
- Je hebt een masterdiploma in de biomedische (ingenieurs)wetenschappen, burgerlijk
- of industrieel ingenieur. Je beschikt over een stevige kennis en interesse in datamanagement.
- Je bent vertrouwd met het praktisch implementeren van algoritmes voor cardiale beeldanalyse.
- Je bent bereid bijkomende opleidingen te volgen omtrent procesoptimalisatie.
- Je analytische en conceptuele vaardigheden zijn goed ontwikkeld.
- Je bent vertrouwd met informaticatoepassingen als KWS (inclusief querys) en programmatie in RedCap, of kan je deze kennis op korte termijn eigen maken.
- Je beschikt over sterke communicatieve vaardigheden.
- Je bent flexibel en je werkt vlot samen in een multidisciplinair team.
- Je hebt een goede mondelinge en schriftelijke kennis van het Nederlands, Frans en Engels.
- Je neemt initiatief en je kan efficiënt organiseren.
- Je bent stressbestendig en je weet de juiste prioriteiten te leggen.
