Nestled on Rue Royale in Notre Dame aux Neiges, this Belle Époque jewel, sculpted by Henri van Dievoet, has stood as a proud witness to the epochs and events that shaped Brussels.

Now, the fabled Grand Hotel Astoria will re-emerge as Corinthia Brussels later in 2024, a beacon of elegance and luxury in the heart of the Belgian capital.


Following a meticulous restoration, Corinthia Brussels will marry the classical elegance of its storied past with sophisticated modern facilities including 126 rooms and suites, a gastronomic restaurant and brasserie, and 1000 square metres of wellness.

Catering to discerning locals and luxury travellers, Corinthia Brussels will harmonise heritage with an avant-garde attitude.

The Brand & Partnerships Manager for Corinthia Brussels will be an integral role within the hotel's Sales & Marketing team, curating meaningful, collaborative partnerships for the hotel and outlets with the opportunity to re-invent what a hotel partnership can look like.

The person in this role should be a creative thinker, with experience building mutually beneficial partnerships impacting the guest experience for in-house guests and locals alike.

This role will also act as brand guardian, ensuring all consumer facing material is on-brand and reflective of the Corinthia Brussels tone of voice and brand guidelines.


Be part of the opening team for this exciting project in Brussels, working for Brussels' most fabulous address, including a luxury hotel but so much more; from a 1000sqm spa, gastronomic restaurant and brasserie, to a members club and retail concept space.

This role will have the unique opportunity to work across all the outlets during a truly exciting pre-opening phase.

Note - fluency in English, French and Dutch languages is required for this position.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work to build an environment within Corinthia Brussels to welcome and attract the local community through relevant and unique partnerships
  • Develop existing partnerships & evaluate new opportunities within the local community to engage for the Corinthia Brussels project including both the hotel and its outlets (incl. concept store, restaurants)
  • Maintain relationships with key partners for Corinthia Brussels to continually build upon mutually beneficial partnerships
  • Develop existing partnerships with a creative approach to bring added value to the hotel experiences
  • Engage with local loyalty members for relevant attendance to events and happenings at the hotel
  • Develop and maintain relations with Belgian tourism associations to work together to build the reputation of Brussels as a key city trip destination for the leisure traveller
  • Act as brand guardian to ensure all collateral for the hotel is onbrand and developed according to brand guidelines
  • Manage the photography and video shoots for Corinthia Brussels and its various outlets in line with content guidelines
  • Coordinate with relevant partners to deliver information on brand guidelines, fonts etc. to ensure development of onbrand material
  • Safeguard and enhance the reputation of our luxury hotel brand by ensuring consistent messaging, brand guidelines, and creative assets across all marketing channels
  • Possibility to lead and develop a team of junior marketing professionals in Social Media, Digital and PR activities according to experience level

TALENT PROFILE

Experience:

  • 35 years in a similar role leading a partnerships strategy
  • Luxury and lifestyle experience, preferably outside of hospitality
  • Experience in an organization employing clear brand guidelines
  • Experience managing a small team is a plus
  • Preexisting network of contacts within Belgium to tap into for partnership opportunities is a plus

Skills & Knowledge:

  • A creative, out of the box thinker to think differently about what defines a hotel partnership
  • Experience developing and nurturing brand partnerships to mutual benefit

Education or Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Marketing, Communications or similar field

Requirements:

  • Fluency in spoken English, French and Dutch is required
