Job Description:

Technicians will be dedicated to the workshop activities as described:

Vehicle and engine preparation for testing activities:

  • Engine components change (all).
  • Vehicle components change (all).
  • Engine replacement on vehicle and ensure a smooth start of it.

Vehicle alignment:
Check and adjust wheel alignment on both axes within given tolerances.

Flash ECU software:
Download software provided by engineer on Engine ECU using dedicated equipment.

Vehicle and engine instrumentation for testing activities:

  • Prepare and install different types of sensors in the vehicle, the engine and its components, e


g:
thermocouples/pressure sensors/accelerometers /acquisition systems.

(TIG/MIG welding, machining skills required).

  • Prepare and install data acquisition systems in vehicles until full operational state.
  • Proper installation and connection to the different devices and power sources needed to
guarantee no data loss.

Vehicle evaluation:
Test drive the vehicles to confirm that vehicle behaviour after parts

replacement is OK or not.

  • Vehicle maskin


g:
Masking of prototype vehicles using foil/ tape based on project standards.

Transmission replacement:

  • Replace T/M, clutch disc, clutch cover and release bearing
  • Tyre replacement and tyre balancin


g:

  • Operate tyre exchange equipment and tyre balancer without causing any damage to the tyre and rim.

Troubleshooting in case of mechanical or electrical problem:

  • Troubleshooting process to come to the root cause of the problem, based on the information of repair manual, different wiring diagrams, using Multimeter, oscilloscope and Diagnostic tools.
  • Deliverable: Proposal of countermeasures and fix the problems.
  • Ensure proper stock management and re-arrangement for vehicle parts, consumables, measuring equipment in line with processes.
The technicians for the workshop services will follow the necessary training to work with hybrid & electric vehicles

Qualifications:

Prior demonstrate experience in similar working place for each one of the activities (minimum 2 years).

Languages

  • Minimum B2 English level.
  • Added value if other language.
