Job Description:
As Workshop Technician you will be dedicated to workshop activities as:
- Vehicle and engine preparation for testing activities: - Replacing Engine components and Vehicle components. - Ensuring the correct function and smooth start of the engine for testing.
Vehicle alignment:
- Checking and aligning wheels on both axes within given tolerances.
- Tyre replacement and balancing.
Flashing ECU software:
- Downloading and flashing software provided by engineer on Engine ECU using dedicated equipment.
- Vehicle and engine instrumentation for testing activities: - Prepare and install different types of sensors and data acquisition systems like: thermocouples/pressure sensors/accelerometers /connecting acquisition systems.
- TIG/MIG welding and machining skills (basic).
Vehicle evaluation:
Test driving the vehicles to confirm that vehicle behaviour after parts replacement.
Vehicle masking:
Masking of prototype vehicles using foil/ tape based on project standards.
Transmission:
- Replacing transmissions and clutches.
- Troubleshooting / Diagnosing mechanical or electrical problems: - Working with repair manuals, wiring diagrams, using Multimeter, oscilloscopes, and Diagnostic tools.
- Stock management for vehicle spare parts and consumables.
Qualifications:
Qualifications:
Work experience in a Mechanical Workshop or similar working places (minimum 1 years). Languages - Minimum B2 English level. - Added value if other language.
Valid Driving license
