What will be your responsibilities?

As a Manager Finance Transformation, you will lead the way in instigating change and achieving outcomes. Your agenda will be brimming with dynamic challenges and chances to steer transformative endeavors.

  • Client Collaboration: Collaborate with stakeholders to comprehend business aims, challenges, and enhancement opportunities.
  • Business Strategy Development: Devise and implement strategies for business growth, both acquiring new clients and expanding existing relationships.
  • Initiative Design and Execution: Head the design and execution of finance transformation projects aligned with clients' strategic agendas and regulatory requisites, including IFRS and Sustainable Finance (.EU Taxonomy, CSRD)
  • Assessment and Recommendation: Conduct evaluations, pinpoint issues, and suggest solutions to refine finance processes, systems, data, and structure.
  • ERP Implementation Support: Aid in deploying ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Workday) to streamline finance operations and boost data analytics using solutions like AnaPlan or Tagetik.
  • Industry Thought Leadership: Develop content, methodologies, and tools to elevate the practice's distinctiveness and value proposition.
  • Networking: Foster ties with external partners and leverage BDO's network to stay informed about finance transformation trends and innovations.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues from diverse Business Practices to make a tangible difference for our clients.

What should you bring to the table?

We seek an individual who embodies excellence in finance transformation. Here are the key attributes for success:

  • Relevant Experience: 5-8 years of experience in finance transformation consulting, preferably in the financial services sector.
  • Education: Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Language Skills: Proficiency in Dutch or French and proficient in the other language, accompanied by strong English skills.
  • Expertise: Demonstrated proficiency in accounting, financial reporting, and management reporting, with a grasp of regulatory and compliance rules.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership capabilities, with the knack for managing junior profiles and nurturing talent.
  • Communication: Exceptional communication and presentation abilities, with the power to influence and sway clients and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Business Development: Proven record in aiding business development, encompassing lead generation and proposal formulation.
  • Consulting Skills: Comprehensive core consulting skills such as project management, problem-solving, change management, and stakeholder engagement.
  • ERP Experience: Proficiency in implementing ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, or Workday.
  • Adaptability: Ability to travel and operate in diverse locations as needed.
