What will you be doing?

As a Payments Transformation Manager at BDO, your primary responsibility is to guide financial institutions through digital transformation complexities. By leveraging your knowledge in open banking and regulatory frameworks, you will craft inventive strategies to transition banks towards the future of payments. From performing gap analysis to leading change management initiatives, your efforts will yield tangible outcomes and leave a lasting mark on the industry.

  • Conduct gap analysis and prep financial institutions for PSD3 compliance.
  • Offer expertise in open banking and regulatory frameworks like PSD2 and FIDA.
  • Create innovative strategies for the transition to a digital, cashless future.
  • Stay abreast of trends in instant payments and emerging payment methods like EPI.
  • Lead projects and change management efforts to ensure successful transformations.
  • Mentor junior consultants and collaborate with clients to address intricate challenges.

If you are an experienced professional with a passion for payment innovation and a proven track record in banking or consulting, this role is tailor-made for you. Leverage your expertise in PSD2, PSD3, and open banking, coupled with robust analytical and communication skills, to drive meaningful change at BDO.

  • 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in banking, consulting, or a related field.
  • Solid knowledge and experience in PSD2, PSD3, and open banking.
  • Experience in gap analysis and regulatory compliance preparation for banks.
  • In-depth understanding of FIDA regulations and their implications on financial institutions.
  • Familiarity with emerging payment trends and technologies.
  • Outstanding analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
  • Capability to collaborate effectively with clients and internal teams.
  • Strong leadership and project management prowess.
  • Dutch or French as your mother tongue and proficiency in the other, along with fluent English.
