Het MateriNex-team binnen VITO zet zich in opdracht van VLAIO en EWI in om het onderzoek in Vlaanderen naar innovatieve materialen voor energie, mobiliteit en bouw te stroomlijnen en te versnellen. Het team faciliteert binnen het hele innovatie eco-systeem in het lanceren van nieuwe projecten rond materialenonderzoek, in het opvolgen van lopend onderzoek en het verspreiden van nieuwe kennis en informatie.

Als **Community Manager **bij MateriNex hou je het overzicht van de verschillende vooraanmeldingen van projectvoorstellen en goedgekeurde projecten die worden opgestart en lopende zijn. Hiernaast hou je eveneens het overzicht van de betrokken uitvoerende consortia, de MateriNex focusgroepen en de operationele partners.

Samen met de Innovation Manager, sta je in voor de lancering van oproepen tot projectvoorstellen en zorg je dat deze oproepen helder en attractief zijn. Vervolgens ben je ook betrokken bij de organisatie van de beoordeling van de vooraanmeldingen door een onafhankelijke experten groep.

Je organiseert kleine en grote events om de projectoproepen bekend te maken en toe te lichten. Ook voor de bijeenkomsten van de focusgroepen verbonden aan de verschillende innovatiethema's zorg je dat alles georganiseerd en tot in de puntjes verzorgd is.

Je bent ook de spil in de organisatie van het jaarlijks What's Next MateriNex event waar Vlaamse kennisinstellingen nieuwe (internationaal) onderzoek komen voorstellen als inspiratie voor nieuwe innovatiethema's.
- Je onderhoudt contacten met bedrijven, kennisinstellingen en andere MateriNex stakeholders om, enerzijds, practicalia en dossiers in orde te brengen en te houden en, anderzijds, om een hechte samenwerking te creëren en te optimaliseren.
- Je lanceert heldere en attractieve oproepen tot projectvoorstellen om passende respons te garanderen.
- Je organiseert events, zowel klein
- als grootschalig, om MateriNex, de projecten en de resultaten zichtbaar te maken en kennis te delen.
- Je volgt vooraanmeldingen van projectvoorstellen en dossiers van goedgekeurde projecten administratief op, je verwerkt verslagen en zorgt voor de nodige input voor rapporteringen naar verschillende instanties waaronder VLAIO en EWI.
- Je houdt gegevens up-to-date op de website en in het CRM-systeem en biedt algemene administratieve ondersteuning aan je collega's.
- Je beschikt over een Bachelor-diploma, bij voorkeur in een office management
- of economische richting.
- Bij voorkeur heb je ervaring in het onderhouden van contacten en het uitbouwen van relaties.
- Ervaring in een wetenschappelijke omgeving is een pluspunt.
- Bij voorkeur heb je voeling of kennis van materialen op het gebied van batterijtechnologie, waterstof, bouw en constructie, strategische en kritieke grondstoffen.
- Je bent zowel mondeling als schriftelijk vloeiend in het Engels en in het Nederlands.
- Je bent op zoek naar een deeltijdse tewerkstelling van 80%.

Je communiceert vlot en helder en dit zowel telefonisch, via schrift als persoonlijk. Je legt vlot nieuwe contacten en kan relaties uitbouwen. Je kan goed communiceren met partners uit verschillende domeinen en allerhande stakeholders. Je bent nauwgezet, detailgericht en organisatorisch sterk. Zowel het contact met allerhande partijen als het administratief op orde stellen van dossiers geven je energie.
