We are currently looking for a Financial Research and Data Support intern to strengthen our Portfolio Management team as of
September 2023 for a period of
- 9 months.
Your Position:
As a Financial Research and Data Support Intern you will have the opportunity to better understand the internal tools already developed within the team of Institutional Portfolio Management ("IPM") on both financial and IT aspects, and further develop the scope of the existing tools by developing them and/or completing them with new tools.
You will be responsible for:
- Understanding, confirming, correcting, amending the existing tools used for optimization;
- Validating the data assumptions;
- Analyzing critically the current financial metric delivered;
- Proposing new metrics to be followed;
- Coding in Python and in VBA;
- Automating processes, while leveraging on batch files;
- Following the Financial Markets and willing to identify (technical) topics.
Your Profile:
- You are fluent in English and have good command in French and Dutch;
- You are able to code in Python or VBA, or eager to learn these coding languages;
- You demonstrate a good understanding of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook;
- You are figuresdriven and able to understand and develop models;
- Team spirit is in your DNA, and you like to work in a dynamic team in a challenging environment.
