Summary

DEME's heavy lift vessels are engaged in the construction, installation, and maintenance of offshore wind farms, as well as the installation and decommissioning of offshore structures. Our dedicated team members utilize innovative methods and cutting-edge equipment to successfully complete projects for our clients. As a Second Mate DPO, your role involves fulfilling duties in accordance with STCW regulations and supporting the 1st Mate.

  • Your responsibilities
  • You will oversee the DP operations of a jack-up platform in the DEME Offshore fleet
  • Ensuring all operations are conducted safely, efficiently, and productively
  • Depending on your expertise and certification, you will be designated as Second Mate with associated responsibilities
  • Possess a maritime education from a nautical institution
  • Hold a Certificate of Competency II/1 or higher (STCW95)
  • Full DP Certification for DP2 vessels
  • Possess a valid Seaman's Book, Medical Fitness Certificate, and Passport
  • Ideally, have a BOSIET or HUET certificate
  • Minimum of 3 years of offshore experience
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrate a hands-on and practical approach
  • Proficient in spoken and written English
