Summary

DEME's heavy lift vessels are involved in building, installing, and maintaining offshore wind farms, as well as installing and decommissioning offshore structures. Our dedicated team uses innovative methods and advanced equipment to complete projects for our clients. As a Second mate Dynamic Positioning Officer (DPO), you will carry out tasks following STCW regulations while supporting the 1st Mate.

  • Our offer
  • You will be in charge of Dynamic Positioning (DP) operations on a jack-up platform within the DEME Offshore fleet
  • You will ensure that all operations are carried out safely, efficiently, and productively
  • Depending on your experience and certification, you will be appointed as Second Mate with relevant responsibilities
  • You have received maritime education at a nautical institution
  • You possess a Certificate of Competency II/1 or higher (STCW95)
  • You are fully DP certified for DP2 vessels
  • You hold a valid Seaman's Book, Medical Fitness Certificate, and Passport
  • Preferably, you have a BOSIET or HUET certificate
  • You have a minimum of 3 years of offshore experience
  • You are communicative, possess problem-solving skills, and have a practical and straightforward approach
  • You are fluent in spoken and written English
