Our Hopper dredgers (TSHD) and Cutter dredgers (CSD) work around the world on the most challenging dredging projects. Being a sailor with DEME is not only sailing from A to B. Dredging Crew/Workmen Worldwide Apply nowYour responsibilitiesYour profileOur offer You will work on board a TSHD, CSD or split barge depending on your motivation and skills, under the First Mate's supervision You are responsible for the watchkeeping, navigation, the dredging process, the maintenance of the dredging equipment and the daily operations on board You contribute to the performance of the operational activities and the optimization of production You maintain the safety on board You update navigation charts and books You will be communicating with the project managers, site superintendents, surveyors and local authorities. It is part of the daily job You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in nautical sciences or you followed an 'MBO-4' or 'HBO' education in a maritime academy or nautical institute You hold a COC (Certificate of Competency in accordance with the international convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watch keeping for Seafarers 1995) You speak and write fluent English You are flexible to work on projects in Belgium and around the world You have a valid Passport, Seaman's Book, Seafarers Medical You have a strong awareness of Health, Safety and Environment You have a hands-on and no nonsense mentality Preferably you already have a basic experienced in dredging An extensive mobility program for a healthy work-life balance A permanent training track which allows you to develop yourself personally and professionally A stimulating, innovative workplace with numerous growth opportunities A people-oriented environment with an interactive health program and a focus on employee wellbeing

Geologist

As a geologist, you will work as a part of the EDT team (Engineering, Design & Technology) in our HQ in Zwijndrecht, near Antwerp (Belgium). Close follow-up, coaching and guidance will be provided of course by Senior colleagues in our geologist team. Next to Geology, the EDT team in activity line Dredging provides support as well in Geotechnics, Coastal Engineering, Environmental engineering, Production and Wear &Tear expertise. This makes the EDT team highly divers in expertise and as such complementary to cover many expert aspects in supporting our projects.

Project QHSE Engineer

Hydraulic Engineer
