Key Responsibilities

The CHRO provides strategic leadership and guidance in all aspects of HR within ENGIE Belgium.

As a member of the ENGIE Belgium Leadership Team, develop and implement strategic people plans to enable business success across areas such as talent management, talent development, talent acquisition, organisational effectiveness, employee engagement and leadership development. Lead and develop a team of 50 people HR team As a Member of the European HR Leadership Team, will be an important contributor to the Hub Europe HR Strategy and will lead transversal projects. As the FlexGen GBU HR Europe SPOC, participate to the Europe GBU Leadership Team and insure business partnership on all issues regarding FlexGen, including leading strategic workforce planning topics, talent management and people review etc. Collaborate with regional European HR teams to share best practices, align processes, and ensure consistency. Ensure proper implementation of Group Corporate initiatives, policies, and guidelines. Support and accompany the Country Manager in driving change towards the One ENGIE mindset and ways of working. It is essential to be able to challenge the status quo and to drive transformation. Manage the social dialogue, foster positive relationships with trade unions. Ensure that all HR practices are in compliance with employment laws and regulations in Belgium, keeping abreast of changes and proactively addressing any potential issues. Ensure full compliance to Group social engagements. Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive compensation and benefits, talent acquisition and talent development programs to attract, motivate, and retain employees. Pursue ENGIE efforts to be an employer of choice for current and future talents. Develop further the employer brand. Champion the ENGIE DE&I agenda. Provide strategic advice and consultative solutions to business leaders on all people related matters. Continuous focus on optimising and simplifying processes to gain efficiencies, including costs. Ensure that the Health, Safety Security and Environmental strategy and policy of ENGIE are fully deployed. Stay informed about industry trends and developments in HR practices, recommending and implementing improvements as appropriate. Drive end-to-end HR M&A deal evaluation, project management, and integration strategy within the Country, assessing risks and identifying recommendations for potential mitigation activities Utilise HR data and analytics to drive evidence-based decision-making. Develop and track HR metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of HR initiatives. Provide insights to senior management on HR trends, workforce analytics, and talent management. Working closely with the Communications and CSR Manager, support the development and implementation of internal and external communication strategies. Key Qualifications

Experienced Human Resources Director with a generalist background and a solid knowledge of the Belgian labor relations and legislation. Experience gained in industrial and international companies Strong proactive partner with a history of quickly gaining credibility with key stakeholders Excellent in setting direction, driving results and transition through others Excellent communication and listening skills Excellent analytical skills, understand the KPIs and has an interest to work in data driven organisation Familiarity with matrix organization and ability to navigate and influence Strong collaborative spirit Ability to challenge the status quo and drive transformation Humble, comfortable and effective in a hands-on, team-oriented matrix environment Ability to work with diverse and remote teams Ability to manage and participate in multiple projects, priorities, and groups, manage timelines and prioritize and stay focused Strong solution focus, structured, comfortable working in an environment which demands high caliber deliverables under tight deadlines. Eye for talent and appetite for developing and nurturing talent High level of curiosity and desire to learn and develop Self-starter and proactive approach. Takes ownership and follows matters through. Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree highly desirable Fluent in Dutch, French and English Position based in Brussels
