Job Description: As a Dissolution Scientist, the ideal candidate will apply advanced scientific knowledge in dissolution testing to contribute to the development of new medications. This role involves working in a team of dedicated researchers, leading and supporting scientific design tasks.
Responsibilities include planning, overseeing, and mentoring dissolution work to aid in developing optimal dosage forms. The candidate will actively contribute to biopharmaceutical assessment strategies, enhance biorelevant methods, and establish clinically relevant quality control measures and standards.
Additionally, the candidate will engage in technical and strategic meetings across different global sites, serving as a representative of the Dissolution Sciences team in a collaborative matrix environment.
Duties also entail drafting and reviewing technical and scientific documentation. Staying abreast of scientific and regulatory developments in Dissolution Sciences through continuous learning and implementing innovative practices are key aspects of this role.
Profile- PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biopharmaceutics, Chemistry, or related field.
- Comprehensive knowledge of pharmaceutical sciences relevant to small molecule formulation development, analytical chemistry, compliance, and GMP.
- Experience in dissolution testing (QC and/or biorelevant) and method development is advantageous.
- A quick learner with scientific curiosity, proactive, and creative mindset.
- Collaborative and adaptable team player in a global setting.
- Strong presentation skills in scientific forums.
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills in English. Proficiency in Dutch or willingness to learn basics.
