As a reporter, your primary responsibility will be to assist Marketing Week in delivering pertinent, exclusive, and valuable content to its audience of senior marketers.
Key Accountabilities
Sourcing, investigating, and presenting content, covering news, data stories, feature articles, profiles, as well as social and video content. Staying informed about the trends and obstacles in marketing and the broader business landscape. Cultivating a robust network of contacts Attending and covering conferences, roundtables, and industry gatherings for content creation and networking. Developing expertise in social media utilization for content promotion. Involvement in Marketing Week branded events such as the Festival of Marketing and Leadership Summit. Enhancing personal profile and reputation for specialization through active social media participation and engagement in external and internal events. Assisting the Xeim commercial team and Festival of Marketing by contributing to partnership content, including hosting webinars.Success Measures
Supporting Marketing Week in achieving its editorial and business goals. Consistently sourcing and producing content of a caliber that is unmatched elsewhere, contributing to increased subscriptions, engagement, and traffic. Establishing a network of contacts and data sources to ensure Marketing Week provides top-notch news and analysis. Generating a continuous stream of innovative ideas and concepts tailored to our audience's requirements and unique to our platform.What We Need From You
Proficiency in delivering accurate content promptly and meeting deadlines An inventive approach to content creation and delivery Handling multiple deadlines efficiently Building contacts both during and after working hours (at events) Previous experience in a reporting capacity.
