YOUR TASKS

  • You will be a key player in a large externallyfunded project with high translational potential.
  • Perform research on mRNA/LNP vaccine production and analytical characterization.
  • Independently establish and perform cutting edge analytical methods.
  • Regularly evaluate, summarize, and present project results.
  • Write scientific papers and present results at conferences.
  • Contribute to tasks within the department such as supervision of internships and master students.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • You hold a thesisbased doctorate (obtained max. 6 years ago. This term of 6 years is determined by the date written on the abovementioned required diploma), preferably in the domain of Pharmaceutical Sciences.
  • You have demonstratable experience in the field of lipid nanoparticles, mRNA vaccines and their physicochemical characterization.
  • Experience with advanced analytics like Cryo-TEM, FFF-MALS or UPLC-CAD is an asset.
  • You have a multidisciplinary mindset.
  • You have strong written and spoken communication skills in English.
  • You have a passion for experimental research and are able to organize, conduct, analyze and report experiments independently.
  • You are highly motivated, efficient and result oriented.
  • You enjoy working in a collaborative fashion.
  • Experience with project management is an advantage.
  • Experience in industry is an advantage

WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU

  • We offer you a contract of definite duration for the period from 2 years
  • Your contract will start on 1/01/2024 at the earliest.
  • Your remuneration will be determined by salary scale WM1 to WM4 (if you hold a Master's degree) or salary scale PD1 to PD4 (if you hold a doctorate). Click here for more information about our salary scales.
