Description:
The Stantec Center of Expertise in Communications and Stakeholder Engagement provides a full spectrum of Communications and stakeholder engagement services, supporting climate and energy policy outreach.
We approach stakeholder engagement in an integrated manner to ensure that communication and European policy strategies are closely coordinated with and support the technical components of the project.
Our communication projects are focused on Sustainability, Clean Energy, Energy Transition, Climate Change, Nature and Biodiversity, and Circular Economy and aim at raising wider awareness and understanding of related European policies.
Stantec Belgium's major client groups include European Union institutions, governments, international funding, aid agencies (EU, EBRD, World Bank, EIB, USAID, the Kuwait Fund, DFID and the UN), and utility companies.
They enable us to deliver communication expertise in those specific areas where we have been active over the last 20 years, namely environment, climate change, water, and energy-related sectors.
Stantec has assumed many leadership roles and provided a complete range of management services for Online Communications on the Global Climate Change Alliance+, EUROCLIMA, and is currently implementing the project EU Leading the Global Energy Transition.
We are currently seeking to recruit a full-time (M/F)
Junior Content Marketing Editor to join our international and dynamic Belgian unit to support our growth and ambition in Communications and Stakeholder Engagement services led by the Centre of Expertise in Communications.
The Content Marketing Editor has a dual role: supporting Stantec Corporate communication activities for the Belgium office and contributing to activities managed by Stantec Project Management and Business Development teams.
He/she is responsible for composing attention grabbing marketing communications, as well as project related and corporate communications pieces.
More specifically, the following assignments could be considered:
contribution to publications, presentations, and content pieces such as interviews, project stories and articles, press releases, etc.
The Content Marketing Editor is also responsible for delivering high quality reviews of proposals, reports, publications, and presentations prepared by Stantec teams.
Responsibilities:
- Support knowledge creation on client projects, including preparation of briefings, press releases newsletters, statistics on the programmes, annual or specific publications, flyers and posters, infographics,, technical studies, lesson learning reviews
- Contribute to reports and provide copyediting support to project teams
- Copyedit analyses, reports and presentations of results in dedicated reports and presentations with technical experts
- Support corporate communications and production of key strategic PR content for
Stantec Belgium:
press releases, online content, corporate storytelling and business presentations
- Contribute to and support upcoming campaigns ensuring unified messaging across several communication channels (e.g. social media, web, newsletter)
Sub-activities may include, among others:
- Draft, setup, and sending of mailings and surveys via dedicated toolsStrengthening the communication of the programmes, as well as their knowledge management by ensuring a systematic collection and sharing of products and best practice.
- Simultaneous management of several social media accounts, leading the development of engaging content, tracking, and reporting key metrics, targeting new stakeholders, as well as informing the wider team on new trends in communications in the Energy, Climate Change and Public Diplomacy sectors.
- Creating copy and sourcing visuals to illustrate text for the production of relevant multimedia (photos, animated videos, infographics) to support social media outreach
- A permanent contract based in La Hulpe (Belgium), with very good personal and professional development prospects.
