The European Asphalt Pavement Association (EAPA) and Aggregates Europe - UEPG are looking for a dynamic PR & Communication Officer to work equal time for both associations.


Your Tasks
As the PR & Communication Officer, you will split your time equally between supporting the EAPA Secretariat (50%) and the Aggregates Europe - UEPG General Secretariat (50%)

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating and implementing communication plans/strategies, encompassing social media management, calendar planning, and more across multiple platforms (Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram)
  • Updating website content using Content Management Systems
  • Assisting in PR and communication campaigns on industryspecific topics
  • Creating engaging content for social media, websites, newsletters, magazines, press releases, banners, videos and other publications
  • Producing and facilitating video podcasts and using our inhouse studio
  • Providing support to the communications team as required for various projects and activities

Your Skills

  • 13 years of professional experience in marketing or communication
  • Strong educational background in marketing or communication or related field
  • Sharp eye for branding with the ability to craft compelling copy and integrate storytelling efficiently
  • Experience with social media management and various communication tools
  • Proactive, creative and collaborative team player who loves bringing new ideas to the table
  • Structured, wellorganised and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficient in at least one of the Adobe Design Suite tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or equivalent
  • Familiarity with analyticsdriven content optimisation and utilisation of AI tools like ChatGPT for marketing and communication purposes
  • Outstanding copywriting skills tailored to the audiences
  • Fluent in English (verbal & written) is essential; other EU languages are a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, teamspirited with the ability to interact with the EAPA and the Aggregates Europe
  • UEPG team.
