At Terumo Cardiovascular, we develop, manufacture, and distribute medical devices for cardiac and vascular surgery with an emphasis on cardiopulmonary bypass, intra-operative monitoring and vascular grafting.
Job Summary:
The Junior Product Manager EMEA is part of TCV EMEA.
The main responsibility of the Junior Product Manager EMEA is to support with the implementation and control of the European, Middle East and African marketing plans into the local market to increase market penetration and profitability for a range of products.
The jobholder analyses market trends and supports the development of the product positioning and growth strategy.
The Junior Product Manager will also support in the transition of production capacity form the UK to Central America and mainly focus on the Tubing Kits product portfolio.
Responsibilities:
Product knowledge, product testing and feedback
- To support in implementing the introduction of new products and its technical support
- Benchmarking: competition, products, pricing. Analyse and research market needs, competitive strategies, portfolios and marketing techniques. Support the field sales force to monitor trends and to improve market intelligence
- To act as an interface between product development and the field sales force by recommending modifications of the assigned range of products and to develop and propose product & strategy innovations
- To align and monitor customer demands and to implement supporting measures after consultation with the Product Manager EMEA
- Support the sales force in technical aspects of the Terumo CV tender business and train internal and external stakeholders
Support the implementation of marketing plans
- Coordinate, implement and execute the marketing plan for the assigned product range in accordance Terumo Europe guidelines.
Deliver training activities
- To organize (in collaboration with the EMEA training manager) and execute trainings for the sales people in order to inspire the sales force and to improve their indispensable skills to increase the sales.
Follow up product availability
- Forecasting for the defined product portfolio to prevent back orders and to provide alternatives within existing product portfolio.
Profile Description:
University degree or comparable education in marketing
First experience preferably linked to the medical device surgical area, Paramedical of Pharmaceutical Industry is beneficial
Hands-on mentality
Flexible, independent, and well organized
Good MS Office skills
Fluency in English (written and spoken). Other languages are considered a plus
Willingness to travel up to 30% within EMEA
