Job Omschrijving:

  • Masterdiploma in (industriële) ingenieurswetenschappen met sterke ICT-component of gelijkwaardig niveau door ervaring.
  • Ervaring met beheren van middelgrote, liefst hybride, IT-systemen.
  • Algemene kennis van en ervaring met IPv4 en IPv6-netwerken en bijhorende netwerkservices.
  • Kennis van Linux-systemen en programmeertalen zoals shell, Python, PHP, GoLang, etc.
  • Ervaring met technologieën zoals (free)radius, mqtt, nginx, apache, postfix, netfilter, BIND9 is een pluspunt.
  • Zelfstandig, initiatiefrijk, teamspeler, goede communicator.
  • Bekend met nieuwe technologieën, planmatig, flexibel, bereid tot bijscholing.
  • Gepassioneerd door IT-beveiliging in al zijn facetten.
  • Vloeiend Nederlands en Engels, met sterke IT-taalvaardigheden.
  • Leiderschapskwaliteiten met solide technische achtergrond.
  • Ervaring met leiden van IT-ontwikkelingsprojecten of klaar om die rol op te nemen.
  • Conceptie en installatie van IT-systemen, focus op basisinfrastructuur ESAT-netwerk.
  • Ontwikkeling en integratie van (web)applicaties.
  • Veiligheid en security spelen cruciale rol in beheer van ESAT IT-systeem.
  • Leiding geven aan grotere IT-projecten, zowel intern als met externe partners.
  • Bepalen van algemeen IT-beleid, afstemmen belangen verschillende afdelingen en externe partners.

Over het Bedrijf:

ESAT, binnen KU Leuven, is internationale speler in onderzoek elektrotechniek. Vooraanstaand in chipontwerp, sensorsystemen, duurzame energiesystemen, microgolven, antennes, AI, cryptografie, computerbeveiliging, en meer. Naast onderwijs op bachelor- en masterniveau, verzorgt ESAT ook verdergezet onderwijs. Op locatie Arenberg zijn circa 500 medewerkers actief, ondersteund door eigen IT-infrastructuur en IT-dienst.
