Regional IT Manager

You will be supporting the international roll-out of our approved prostate cancer imaging agent and helping us to advance our portfolio of late clinical-stage products that address significant unmet need in oncology and rare diseases.
Reporting to the CIO; the Regional IT Lead is primarily responsible for ensuring the technology department is a business enabler, providing strong, secure, consistent support to systems and processes to the APAC region.
This is achieved through working in tandem with global IT on strategic and operational leadership both to the IT department and to the wider business in all areas relating to technology design, infrastructure, management, performance, systems and processes.
About You
Education and Experience:
- A Tertiary qualification in information technology or related field or relevant experience
- Minimum 35 years' experience working in a similar role
- Professional IT Certifications, such as: Microsoft MCP, MCSA, or MCSE, Cisco CCNA, or VMware VCP will be highly regarded
- Experience with ERP systems
- Demonstrated knowledge of TCP/IP Networking, security, and wireless protocols
- Knowledge and experience in crossfunctional IT management methods and techniques
- Contractor and vendor management/supervision experience
- Experience with Office 365, Azure, Intune
- IT project management experience
Key Accountabilities:
- Own the IT Support process for all APAC users. Work to improve the level of service the IT Team provides. Deliver services to agreed SLAs (Service Level Agreement)
- Ensures effective Information Security measures are enforced to protect our people and assets
- Lead IT projects, including the design and deployment of new IT systems and services in the region
- Monitor performance of information technology systems to determine cost and productivity levels, and to make recommendations for improving the IT services
- Planning and budgeting for regional IT
- Help define IT infrastructure strategy, architecture, and processes
- Manage vendors and develop strategies for regional support services, new hardware and software
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to internal IT
