Working in the Network Build & FTTH Roll-Out team
Ensure the timely end-to-end build-up and roll-out of both HFC and FTTH according to the predetermined milestones.
Your tasks as Director FTTH Roll-out
As lead of the FTTH Roll-out you oversee FTTH roll-out team:
- You establish the strategic framework for the department, in line with the Roll-out & Telenet strategy and ensure its proper implementation.
- You are responsible for the execution of the FTTH Rollout program.
- You cocreate a rollout partner strategy to match the rollout ambition in conjunction with other build activities.
- You cocreate a rollout planning matching all internal and external stakeholders' requirements. Your team is responsible for the timely rollout according to the communicated plan with external customers.
- In consultation with stakeholders, you identify priorities, formulate actions and direct projects and initiatives.
- You plan, manage, and monitor the team's activities and budget in order to achieve short
- You plan & implement innovative solution to improve efficiency and cost in the FTTH Rollout.
- You work closely with internal and external stakeholders.
- Your team members are responsible for the interface towards the rollout partners, building up the FTTH rollout planning and providing the required reporting both from a project and financial point of view. The anticipated team size is around 10 direct reports, leading hundreds of partner resources executing the FTTH rollout.
- You coach employees and take other necessary steps to ensure the development and deployment of their competencies, knowledge, and skills in the short and long term. You are responsible for creating a diverse team.
- You work closely with the operational department and monitor the quality of the work performed.
- You strive for uniformity of processes and partners of the mass rollout for new connections within the required SLA's

Our ideal Director FTTH Roll-out
- Master's degree, or equivalent through experience.
- At least 710 years of relevant experience.
- Has a good understanding of HFC (Hybrid Fiber Coax), FTTH and telecommunications technology.
- You are fluent in Dutch and English (spoken and written).
- You have strong management skills.
- You have strong financial & reporting skills.
- You are an excellent motivator and coach.
- You are customer oriented, analytical, strongly communicative and have project management skills.
