In the role as Senior Technical Service Supervisor/ Teamlead you will be responsible for all communication between internal and external customers and field service teams.

You will be the first point of contact for all kind of technical-related issues.

This will include:

people management for field service engineers, discussing escalations with customers, negotiations, price quotations, service contracts, tender support, building customer relationships.


You will be the main point of contact for the local customers, local commercial team and field team for all Service & Repair related questions and-or escalations.


A Day in the Life

  • You will be responsible for 100% supervision of the team, sales and customers in the region.
  • You will visit the FSE at the customer site, discuss complaints/escalations/price quotations, repair prices with the customer and support sales with tendering.
  • You will provide technical advice to customers, sales personnel, and healthcare professionals responding to productrelated questions, issues and problems.
  • You will provide sales personnel with technical data necessary for the demonstration of products.
  • You will act as a liaison between sales personnel and customers on technical issues.
  • You may make technical presentations at sales meetings and customer locations.

Must Haves

  • At least Bachelor degree and minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with a minimum of 5 year of relevant experience.
  • Understands basic management approaches such as work scheduling, prioritizing, coaching and process execution.
  • Requires complete and broad knowledge of operational systems, techniques and practices typically gained through extensive experience.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent written and spoken Dutch and French. Good level of English.
  • Willingness to travel and a driver's license available.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills that are balanced with speed and effectiveness.
  • A very respected team player with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent in managing stressful situations including commercial/sales discussions.

Nice to Haves

  • Indepth experience with medical devices (working in the hospital setting and knowing the organization of the different departments: procurement, theatre, service engineers etc.).
  • Effective presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Experienced Microsoft Office user
  • Relevant experience in diagnosing, repairing and maintaining electronic and electromechanical equipment in a field service role where you have been facing customers in their premises.
