monthsWe are looking for a detail-orientated
tax specialist to be responsible for tax-related tasks. The tax specialist's responsibilities include
preparing all tax compliance, assisting in audits, and responding to tax correspondence.


To be successful as a tax specialist, you should be up-to-date with the latest technologies which assist in accounting duties, have an understanding of big data systems, and good communication skills.

Ultimately, a top-notch tax specialist should have strong analytical skills, pay attention to detail, and the ability to manage your time efficiently.

Objectives of this role- Assist in developing business and investment strategies for an optimized tax return- Ensure that corporate tax-return preparation meets all regulatory requirements

  • Review operations and procedures to ensure compliance with local statutes and regulations

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Preparation of statutory account and corporate income tax declaration
  • Preparation of VAT return and different statutory reporting (Intrastat, Structure surveys, )
  • Responsible for IFRS tax compliance
  • Conduct research on tax compliance issues at the local and national levels
  • Assist external audits

MUST HAVE

  • Handson experience in tax and statutory accounting
  • Degree in Accountancy, Tax or Finance (master or bachelor)
  • IFRS Knowledge is a plus
  • Stress resistant
  • Fluent in English
  • Work independently
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Sharp attention to detail
  • Work permit for Belgium
