Description
As a claims handler, you are responsible for efficiently handling your clients' claims files and acting as the go-to person in case of issues and complaints. You thoroughly analyze the claims files; negotiate with clients, opposing parties, insurers, experts, and lawyers; and always come up with a good and efficient solution, considering the tight deadline. You manage each file from A to Z: from opening the file, follow-up, payment, to closure and archiving. You also take care of managing the agenda and mail. You create claims statistics and interpret them in collaboration with your colleagues.
Profile
- You have a Bachelor's degree in Finance and Insurance, Economics, or Law.
- You have at least 5 years of experience in a claims department.
- You are fluent in Dutch, French, and have a good knowledge of English.
- You have a solid knowledge of MS Office (especially Word and Excel).
- You are always customer-oriented and can collaborate well in a team.
- You are organized and can prioritize effectively.
