RP People is an executive search company focused on the EU public affairs market.

As part of the fast growing RPPA Group, it works closely with corporates, EU associations and civil society organisations to identify and recruit the best public affairs and communications talent in the EU market.

In addition, it identifies and attracts talent for the Brussels office of Rud Pedersen Public Affairs.


As a result of continued growth and increasing demand from its internal and external clients, RP People is looking for a motivated intern to join its search and selection division for a 6-month paid internship.


This is an excellent opportunity to develop your existing skills, and learn about the recruitment market in the context of public affairs and strategic communications, and to gain insights on the world of the Brussels Bubble.


As RP People works closely with its colleagues at Rud Pedersen Public Affairs, you will also have the opportunity to gain insights on public affairs consultancy.


General responsibilities will include:

  • Providing support for search and selection assignments on behalf of internal and external clients;
  • Undertaking research of the relevant market place;
  • Promoting the services of RP People via social media campaigns, and other marketing channels;
  • Assisting with writing job briefs, advertisements and social media posts;
  • Supporting the graduate recruitment programme for Rud Pedersen Public Affairs
  • Assisting colleagues in other teams as and when required.

Skills & Requirements

  • Previous experience gained in a similar role/context is highly desirable;
  • A strong interest or understanding of European Affairs together with a good awareness of the functions of the Brussels Bubble would be welcomed;
  • Previous experience of working with databases, social media platforms, or CRM systems in general is essential;
  • Abilty to conduct effective research assignments, starting from a broad base;
  • Proven ability to write nuanced text, in English is essential;
  • An enthusiasm for working with people, and an interest in the world of search and selection;
  • Strong team orientation, together with the drive to achieve positive outcomes.
Full professional proficiency in English is essential, with working knowledge of another EU official language. Your written English skills will be tested during the interview process via a short written assessment.
