Solution Architect

This role has been designated as 'Edge', which means you will primarily work outside of an HPE office.
Our new innovative IT services organization is HPE Pointnext. We have the expertise to advise, integrate, and accelerate our customers' outcomes from their digital transformation.
In a typical day as a Solution Architect, you would
- Establish trusted advisor relationships at senior levels for specific customers
- Understand client's internal management alliances and shape client thinking on technology direction
- Promote innovation and thought leadership while contributing to the technical dimension of customers growth plan
- Conceive and create new technology programs to support ongoing business and future business growth
- Validate HPE portfolio solutions against client needs, and shape as necessary for client acceptance
- Create the annual technology roadmap for the customers
- Assist in the development of the technical community while sharing your knowledge and technical expertise.
- Lead and or assist in the development of IT infra solution strategies, approaches, architecture, IT services and related responses to client challenges and RFPs
- Identifying gaps in current standards/services and developing target architectures
- Capture detailed customer requirements in workshops and interviews
- Design appropriate solutions with specific understanding of complexities involved in creation of public, private and hybrid cloud environments
- Explain and introduce HPE & partner solutions, to ensure relevance for solution creation
Profile:
- 8+ years of professional experience in delivering hybrid infrastructure projects
- Holding a first level university degree in Computer Sciences or a related area
- A strong professional with consistent business acumen and general management leadership abilities including accountability
- Able to build relationships with Clevel executives in client organizations
- A skilled leader who coaches, encourages teambuilding and works on conflict resolution with strong decision making.
- Excellent in verbal and written communication and presentation
- Fluency in English, Flemish is advantageous
- A specific expertise around IT services or Cloud experience (Digital transformation journey, Private and Public Cloud offerings, Managed Services, build/run, outsourcing etc.).
- Automation, Middleware knowledge
- Have experience implementing landing platforms in Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform and/or Amazon Web Services cloud solution, architecture, related technologies, and their interdependencies
- Keen understanding of the network, server, storage, backup, and automation technologies, especially Software
- data centers
- Possess skills to document solutions and communicate in a team environment
