We are continuously looking for talent to join our team in order to realize our ambition to become the leading player within the ICT sector in the Benelux.


In this context, we are looking for a Sales Account Executive for our Tribe "Segment of One" and more specifically for the "Public Enterprises" department.

As a Sales Account Executive, you will have the opportunity to play a decisive role in the development of the "Walloon Public Sector" sector.


As a Sales Account Executive in the Cluster "Public Enterprises" of the Tribe "Segment of One", you will be responsible for managing and growing one or more key strategic customers for the Walloon Public Sector at Proximus NXT.

Contacts with C-level executives within your customer portfolio are primordial to gain a good understanding of the sector and customers.

This way we can respond to customer/market needs in this growth segment and achieve a high penetration rate (at customer and sector level).


  • You are responsible with some key customer(s) of the Walloon Public Sector for the growth of their business with the Proximus Group.
  • In your approach, you are able to build a strategic partnership with your customers, leveraging the full expertise of the Proximus Group for traditional and innovative solutions.
  • You develop an extensive knowledge of the customer(s)/sector and build a relationship of trust up to Clevel, allowing you to propose and realize projects with high added value.
  • You initiate targeted opportunities, negotiate and defend all deals to a successful close.
  • You are a team player with strong people management skills, which translate into motivating all stakeholders within the Account Team.
  • Working closely with the Solutions Sales and Presales Team, you will ensure that the delivered solutions are relevant and in line with customer demand and delivered in accordance with the contract, you will also personally follow up on complex deals and be able to independently pitch your solution to your customer.
  • You have the necessary knowledge regarding the Public Procurement Procedures.
  • You provide management with a clear insight into the market trends, challenges and opportunities with your customers thanks to which the Proximus Group can respond proactively to market developments.
  • Through your tothepoint reporting, you contribute to the budget determinations for the relevant customer portfolio and to the realization of the sales budget.
  • Your effective stakeholder management, both internally and externally, makes you a valued interlocutor at all levels within the organization. You have access to the CxO level and can enter into conversations with them independently
  • You manage the virtual Account Team to answer public tenders in a professional way by bringing the key stakeholders together and ensuring that everyone is motivated to contribute to the answer to the tender and to the growth of your client portfolio.
  • You provide professional management reporting on large complex deals and can independently present these to the Management Team, this is the âEnterprise Leadership Squadâ of Proximus NXT.
  • In line with the "Agile Tribe" model, you will report to the Chapter Owner of "Segment of One and Financial services", functionally you will work in the Tribe "Segment of One", cluster "Public Enterprises", Squad "Walloon Public Sector".
Your Profile

  • You have at least 7 years of experience in strategic Account Management and/or Business Development and/or Solution Sales within a B2B environment and have a passion for developing and growin
