We are in search of a Bio Manufacturing Sciences Specialist who is committed to ensuring optimal efficiency and compliance within our Bio Drug Substance Operations team at our UCB campus situated in Braine l'Alleud, Belgium.
About the Role
You will have a crucial role in enhancing daily operations, ensuring adherence to HSE, GMP, and technical standards, and assisting in the planning, implementation, evaluation, and approval of clinical campaigns.
Who You'll Work With
Be part of a cooperative team, collaborating closely with supervisors and colleagues from different departments to reach operational objectives and ensure compliance with quality criteria.
What You'll Do
- Support the transition of processes from laboratory to pilot scale
- Develop and manage documentation for methods and enhancements
- Work with management to organize and carry out production operations
- Offer on-site assistance during production campaigns
- Apply expertise in Media/Buffers preparation and adherence to GMP
- Coach and motivate team members while ensuring GMP and scientific standards compliance
Interested? We are looking for the following qualifications and skills:
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a related area
- Experience in the pharmaceutical manufacturing sector
- Thorough understanding of GMP and pharmaceutical rules
- Previous experience in regulated pharmaceutical environments
- Proficiency in preparing buffer solutions and managing logistics
- Familiarity with equipment validation and process validation
- Excellent command of French and Technical English
