For one of our clients at the European Parliament we are looking for a Digital Media Producer to complement The Europa Experience Unit.


The services include:

  • Support the Europa Experience project teams in the design, implementation and reception of the IT components of Europa Experience exhibition spaces (hardware, audiovisual equipment software and network installations of any given exhibition) throughout Europe,
  • Coordinate with Europa Experience projects' stakeholders and supervising Parliament's contractors in the planning, procurement, installation, reception and hand over phases of the IT/AV equipment,


The Unit has taken stock of the implementation of the first series of Europa Experience projects and developed a franchised approach: most of the exhibition media stations and functional components have been streamlined and regrouped in a Technical Handbook.

These exhibition elements are now to be duplicated and are only adjusted to site conditions and market availability of the hardware.

The profile will be trained into this franchised approach and will participate to the project teams' work with the dedicated scenography & media planner and with the framework contractor for hardware supply & services.

The nature of the most relevant but not exhaustive tasks is:

  • Follow-up of the IT dimensions (Hardware, software, and connectivity) of a number of Europa Experience projects in the Member States, including participation to the project coordination meetings, inter-services coordination and follow-up with the Europa Experience Unit;
  • Support to the project team, composed of a senior Project Manager, an IT specialist and an IT assistant;
  • Support to the IT specialist in the preparation and analysis of the Hardware list for a given project, follow up with the contractors and project stakeholders;
  • Reference point for the inventory of a project's assets (IT & non IT) and preparation of maintenance stock in the hand over phase of a project;
  • Support to the IT specialist in third level maintenance tasks;
  • Preparation of the contractual milestones of a project with the senior Project Manager and IT specialist: review of the IT supply & services offers, technical preparation of the order forms, change orders and inspection lists.
The resource will prove to have experience in the following technologies and communication

areas:

  • Bachelor degree
  • At least three years of professional experience
- digital communication;
- knowledge and experience in media planning and IT infrastructure design, in particular as concerns digital and audio-visual products;
- ability and proven experience in developing and implementing complex IT/AV projects;
- willingness to keep up to date with the latest trends in exhibition and museum technologies;
- experience with the management of contracts in the field of IT or network infrastructures;
- analyse data and processes linked to IT/AV infrastructure for Europa Experience deployment and provide improvements in the field;
- ensure quality of data log;
- familiarity with the European Parliament visitor offer and acquaintance with the European Institution and institutional communication;
- strong coordination skills, in particular the ability to express common goals and generate consensus among stakeholders;
- experience in team working and ability to promote shared solutions to facilitate team working;
- strategic thinking and understanding of business needs;
- analytical skills;
- excellent and enthusiastic communication;
- ability to cope with fast-changing requests and deliver on tight deadlines.
