Food Warehousing & Distribution (FWD) staat in voor een integrale logistieke dienstverlening voor Pauwels Sauzen.
Onze magazijnen zijn speciaal uitgerust voor droge en geconditioneerde opslag. Onze kernactiviteiten zijn talrijk. FWD neemt de hele toeleveringsketen van verladers (of producenten) over. Dat is één van onze specialiteiten.
Zo kunnen bedrijven zich nog meer richten op hun core business. Wij nemen de toeleveringsketen integraal over: non-food (verpakkingsmateriaal) afroepen, de voorraad monitoren, bestelopdrachten genereren, THT-bewaking, VAL-activiteiten, inslag, opslag, colli picking, pallet picking, transport, distributie, facturering... FWD is gespecialiseerd in de voedingsindustrie en kent dus het klappen van de zweep in deze sector.

**Warehouse & Distribution Manager**
HANDS-ON PEOPLE MANAGER MET EEN PASSIE VOOR LOGISTIEK, PLANNING EN WAREHOUSE
**Functie**:
- Als Warehouse & Distribution Manager sta je in voor het bewaken van de coördinatie, organisatie en uitvoering van de operationele werkzaamheden van alle - niet productiesite gebonden - magazijnen (1 intern en 4 externe) binnen de Pauwels groep om de continuïteit te waarborgen. Dit in lijn met het vooropgesteld beleid en onder handhaving van hygiëne, kwaliteit, milieu en veiligheidsvoorschriften en een optimale inzet van mensen en middelen:
- Het vertalen van de vooropgestelde strategie naar operationele logistieke doeleinden rekening houdend met het continue verbeteren van de operations en het up-to-date blijven met de markt.
- Het garanderen van een optimaal beheer van het warehouse en zorgen dat klanten tijdig, binnen specificaties, volgens afspraak en tegen minimum kost beleverd worden.
- Het bewaken van de coördinatie en het aansturen van projecten voor planning, warehouse, transport en masterdata om de continuïteit van de aankoop, verkoop, planning en logistieke processen te garanderen.
- Meedenken en aansturen voor de optimalisatie en efficiëntie van logistieke processen en infrastructuur. Fungeren als Business Proces Owner inzake logistieke processen binnen de implementatie van het ERP-systeem.
- Motiveren, ontwikkelen en aansturen van de plant i.s.m. de Operations Manager om deze in staat te stellen haar taken uit te voeren volgens de bedrijfsverwachtingen wat betreft kwantiteit, kwaliteit, hygiëne, planning, veiligheid, werkinstructies en procedures.
- Het verzekeren van de nodige kennis, vaardigheden en attitudes die nodig zijn voor het realiseren van de vooropgestelde strategie, doelstellingen en acties.
- Je rapporteert aan de Supply Chain Director en stuurt de Operations Manager en een team van zeven medewerkers aan. (3 medewerkers orderdesk/planning, een magazijncoördinator en 3 ploegleiders).
**Profiel**:
- Je behaalde een Master diploma en je kan tussen 5 en 8 jaar ervaring aantonen in een gelijkaardige functie bij voorkeur in een logistieke omgeving;
- Je bent een charismatische leider met goede sociale vaardigheden en een "no-nonsense en hands-on" mentaliteit. Je houdt ervan medewerkers te coachen, inspireren en motiveren.
- Je bent assertief en in staat mensen te overtuigen zodat ze zich betrokken voelen;
- Je kan ook duidelijk communiceren op alle niveaus binnen en buiten de organisatie o.a. met maatwerkbedrijven, leveranciers, transporteurs;
- Je bent sterk analytisch, accuraat en hebt inzicht in bedrijfs
- en logistieke processen;
- Als Warehouse & Distribution Manager onderscheid je jezelf door je gedrevenheid, je organisatorische vaardigheden, je flexibiliteit en je aandacht voor veiligheid en kwaliteit;
- Je bent proactief, resultaatgericht en besluitvaardig.
- Je bent in staat om snel te schakelen dankzij je stressbestendigheid, daardoor blijf je steeds kwaliteitsbewust en behoud je je zin voor verantwoordelijkheid;
- Je bent tevens in staat nieuwe processen te implementeren. Je hebt kennis en ervaring met een ERP en WMS-pakket;
- Naast het Nederlands heb je een goede mondelinge en schriftelijke kennis van het Engels en het Frans.
