**Our vision for “function or BU” at BD**:
As part of the end-to-end logistic process and organization, the Resourcing & Training Specialist ensures the most efficient and cost-effective resource planning to process the in
- & outgoing workload planned by the in-and outbound warehouse planning departments.

**About the role**:
This person will also be responsible for setting up the complete training landscape for DC Olen. In this aspect, he/she will take up a critical role within the process of continuous skills development for all warehouse employees.

The Resourcing & Training Specialist reports to the Operations Manager.

**Main responsibilities will include**:
**Efficient and Cost Effective Resource Planning**:

- Ensure the right resourcing in accordance to the forecasted/planned workload in collaboration with warehouse planning incl. management of variable resources (contingent workers)
- Coordinate planning in accordance with projects
- Coordinate the cross departmental resource allocation (right resources at the right location) in collaboration with the teamleads and warehouse planning
- Actively monitors the productivity by means of Key Performance Indicators with peak/drops review and supports continuous improvement.

**Efficient & Effective Training Management**:

- Create training plan for operations workforce related trainings, taking into consideration operational workload
- Align training programs with the teamleads/managers to support personal growth
- Coordinate standard training programs for as well operations as administration on EHBO, fire team, licenses for equipment ,.
- Take an active role within QA inspire program:
**° Creation of training**:
° Organize & provide training

**° Register trainings & follow up on overdue/re-training**:

- Monitor the effectiveness of the execution of specific training plan for both BD contracts & contingent workers.

**Reporting & Communication**:

- Attend the regular meetings with the contigent worker supplier(s), and report on the evaluation of the concerned colleagues.
- KPI reporting
- Assist in the onboarding & training of new colleagues
- Create & follow up a DC skill matrix
- Actively monitors performance of temporary resources and gives individual performance feedback & input in the decision process of new hires

**Assurance of compliancy with quality ISO 13485 standards & requirements**
- Comply to QMS (Quality Management System) requirements
- Provide assistance in updating processes and SOP (Standard Operating procedures), following GDP (Good Documentation Practices)
- Provide assistance in audits

**Assure safety & security**:

- Actively promote a safe work environment
- Assure requested tasks are carried out in a safe manner
- Immediate reporting of near misses, injuries, accidents or any unsafe situations
- Respect Hazmat requirements

**About you**:
**Master level or equivalent**:

- Proven insight/experience in logistic/warehouse planning
- CEFR English level B2 or equivalent

**Good insight in end to end logistic processes**:

- System savviness & knowledge of Manhattan workings
- Knowledge of Operations procedures and working instructions
- Continuous improvement mindset
- Good collaboration & communication skills
- Good balance of acting both agile / profound
- Ability to work against deadlines
- Proficient knowledge of MS Excel
