Help ons door je vaardigheden in te zetten Oxfam is op zoek naar een Humanitarian Programmes & Advocacy Assistant.

Wat houdt de baan in?

Je ondersteunt het team in hun taken: toezicht houden op de uitvoering van humanitaire projecten/programma's in het veld, pleitbezorging voor humanitair beleid, de "genderambities" en communicatie van hun activiteiten.

Jouw verantwoordelijkheden:

Monitoring van humanitaire programma's:

  • Je neemt deel aan de maandelijkse opvolgingsvergaderingen voor humanitaire projecten/programma's en neemt notities;
  • Je organiseert zelf opvolgingsvergaderingen voor aan jou toegewezen projecten;
  • Je herleest voorstellen en rapporten, formuleert vragen ter verduidelijking/consistentie en herwerkt de structuur om de kwaliteit ervan te verbeteren;
  • Je kan worden gevraagd om korte visuals en/of producten (summary notes) voor te stellen/voor te bereiden om een "snelle verwerking" van lange rapporten te vergemakkelijken;
  • Je ondersteunt het team bij het organiseren van evenementen en wanneer collega's en partners op bezoek komen;

Je voert de gendermarkering uit voor nieuwe projectvoorstellen en evalueert deze voor projecten/programma's die momenteel worden uitgevoerd. Je zorgt voor een debriefing aan andere teamleden.

Humanitaire pleitbezorging:

  • Je volgt de politieke agenda van het Federale en Europese Parlement en volgt de sociale netwerken van een aantal politieke doelen. Je neemt notities over rapporten, parlementaire sessies, conferenties, enz.
  • Je woont evenementen, vergaderingen en andere bijeenkomsten bij en vertegenwoordigt het team en/of brengt verslag uit aan het team;
  • Je ondersteunt het team bij het organiseren van evenementen en bilaterale bijeenkomsten;
  • Je ondersteunt het team bij het beoordelen en afronden van pleitbezorgingsproducten.

Varia:

  • Je helpt de zichtbaarheid van het humanitaire werk van het team te vergroten door artikels te schrijven, posts op sociale netwerken voor te stellen, folders/one-pagers op te stellen, enz.
  • Je ondersteunt het team bij het organiseren van externe evenementen;
  • Je voegt de inbreng van verschillende mensen/teamleden samen bij het opstellen van "collectieve" documenten.

Je profiel :

  • Je hebt een masterdiploma in een van de volgende takken: humanitair recht, internationale solidariteit, geopolitiek, enz. of gelijkwaardige ervaring.
  • Je hebt minstens een jaar werkervaring in een NGO (inclusief relevante stage(s
  • Je bent tweetalig in het Frans en het Engels - kennis van het Nederlands is een pluspunt;
  • Je bent vertrouwd met de Belgische en Europese besluitvormingsprocessen, bevoegdheden en instellingen.
  • Je hebt goede analytische, synthetische en schriftelijke vaardigheden en communiceert gemakkelijk.
  • Je bent vertrouwd met genderrechtvaardigheid.
  • Je onderschrijft de waarden van Oxfam.

  • Een voltijds contract (38u) van bepaalde duur tot en met 31 december
  • Een bruto maandsalaris dat is afgestemd op de NGO-sector, d.w.z. tussen € 2482,88 en € 4111,91 voor 30 jaar anciënniteit;
