Responsible for managing all marketing initiatives for the healthcare segment in EMEA. The scope includes the Rx, OTC and consumer health subsegment and the oral solid, oral liquid, ophthalmic, pulmonary and dermal administration routes as well as medical devices and diagnostics segments where functional packaging is required

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Define and drive the EMEA pharma segment 5 years strategy through proactive monitoring of value chain developments, unmet needs identification and understanding of the broader Amcor strategy
- Drive innovation through proactive identification of unmet needs and ensuring the require support through the stage gate process. This may include consumer and patient panels, customer interviews, survey and other tools that may be deemed necessary
- Develop compelling value propositions that target the needs of the segment and specific customers and position our capabilities and products against the next best alternative
- Lead the development of powerful external communications in close collaboration with the Marketing Communications team, including but not restricted to participation on industry events
- Guide the lead generation process systematically through combination of scouting, marcomm activities, and work closely with the business development team to unlock the opportunities
- Support the Healthcare leadership in the development of presentations, strategic discussions, and relevant investment cases
Lead and work in cross functional teams across cultures and locations in a highly matrixed internal environment. Ability to influence and drive the agenda without authority is key to succeed, both towards peers and senior stakeholders. Ensure long-term strategic outcomes are achieved through solid strategic process, diligent execution, while managing the short-term needs of the business
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
Formal Qualifications and Experience
- Master's degree in science or businessrelated field, specialisation in Marketing is a plus
5+ years marketing experience in the healthcare and/or consumer health space, ideally B2B
- Demonstrated success with key marketing processes: strategic planning, competitive analysis, market research, new product launches, value pricing strategies, tactical sales support
- Proven track record succeeding in a crossfunctional, highly matrixial organization
- Demonstrated ability to drive customer and segment into new products or the company offering
- Previous experience of the pharmaceutical packaging industry is a plus
- Proven track record building sounded business cases to back innovations, investments
- Fluent in English, additional European languages (e.g. French, German, Spanish) a strong plus
- Disruptor with care mentality, willing to challenge status quo while bringing the team along
- Strong project and thought leader with the ability to define strategy and operationalize it
- Strong analytical skills, ability to design analyses and draw conclusions from complex, incomplete data
- Solid business acumen including good feel for numbers
- Ability to simplify complex issues and creativity to think outside the obvious solutions
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a large, complex, and evolving organization and to deliver against deadlines while managing multiple priorities in a dynamic and global environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to communicate effectively with different stakeholders at all levels and across all the functions of the organization
- Strong presentation skills
- Ability to build and maintain strong business relationships both internally and externally
