**Wij zoeken een CoW Lead**
Een Control Of Work Leader zorgt voor de praktische organisatie van het algemene toezicht op de veiligheid op de terminal. Het toezicht geldt voor alle werkzaamheden door derden en tevens voor alle (operationele) activiteiten door eigen Vopak-medewerkers waarvoor een werkvergunning vereist is. De CoW lead organiseert het vergunningenproces, uit
- en ingebruikname en reiniging van infrastructuur, beheer van Lock out - Tag out en voert het beheer van slangen op de terminal uit.
**Jouw rol als CoW Lead**
De Control of Work lead beslist zelfstandig en is verantwoordelijk voor een veilige uitvoering van werkzaamheden op de terminal. Hij lost conflictsituaties op in overeenstemming met de betrokken diensten met oog voor het algemeen belang van de terminal. Hij stuurt de COW-operator(s) aan en overlegt met de (assistent) Terminal Manager over alle andere onderwerpen die buiten zijn beslissingsrecht vallen.
Dit doe je als volgt:
- Je zorgt ervoor dat je medewerkers opgeleid zijn en de benodigde kennis en vaardigheden hebben om hun taak uit te voeren. Daarnaast verdeel je de medewerkers over de werkplekken conform het werkaanbod.
- Je maakt continue verbetering mogelijk door duidelijke doelen te stellen en overlegt regelmatig met je team. Je zorgt ervoor dat processen conform de procedures worden uitgevoerd.
- Je brengt verbeteringen aan bestaande procedures en schrijft indien nodig nieuwe procedures.
- Je signaleert problemen, herkent belangrijke informatie, legt verbanden tussen gegevens en spoort mogelijke oorzaken van problemen op. Je stelt de diagnose, bedenkt alternatieve oplossingen en geeft consequenties aan.

- Bachelor denk
- en werkniveau of gelijkgesteld door ervaring;
- Zeer goede beheersing van het Nederlands en Engels;
- Kennis van terminal operationele activiteiten en techniek;
- Productkennis en reinigingsproces van tanks/leidingen en pompen begrijpen en implementeren;
- Werken met MS Office en snel onder de knie krijgen van interne programma's en automatiseringen;
- Meten van Zuurstof
- en Gasconcentraties.
